The Ruger American in 17HMR managed an inch 5-shot group @ 100 yards using Hornady 17gr V-MAX ammo. I personally prefer the 22 Magnum over the 17HMR but the Ruger American platform allows you to enjoy shooting at a budget price. Which do you prefer 17HMR vs 22WMR?
