I have owned the Ruger American Rimfire in 22lr for years now and never had a single issue with it. From the hi-viz Williams front sight, floated barrel, extended magazine release, adjustable trigger to the interchangeable stock modules and the use of 10/22 magazines, the compact version in 22 magnum (22mag 22WMR) is just as great and allows anyone to get into the fun of shooting!
