This is my review of the Coonan “Tactical” 357 Magnum pistol. This pistol is a beast and handles 357mag loads from lighter 124gr up to heavier 158gr projectiles. Cycling was flawless with the 357mag loads however as stated in the manual, 38 special rounds won’t cycle until at least 200-500 rounds of 357mag have been cycled to “break-in” the pistol. If you’re looking for a 1911 style pistol that has a lot of knockdown, the Coonan would be worth taking a look at.
