The Big Horn Armory Model 90A lever action rifle is based from the 460 S&W Model 90, but chambered in 454 Casull. Initially I had major issues with this rifle as it would not function or cycle properly. Long story short, Big Horn Armory had mistakenly assembled it with the 460 S&W lifter instead of the 454 lifter that should have been in the rifle. They immediately express posted the correct lifter out to Australia and paid for the install, so their customer service was faultless.

Once the correct lifter was installed, the rifle ran fine without any jams. It’s a heavy hitting calibre that would be suitable for large pigs and even scrub bull here in Australia. It was a blast (literally) to shoot 🙂 They are available in 460 S&W and 500 S&W.
